Shore Party Seven is a solo project by AJ Oceans. These first efforts in playing with a drum machine and trying bass, lead and rhythm guitar parts turned out better than expected. Working with multi-track recording off a foot switch and overdub capability has opened up a whole new world compared to single track recording without drums. Some tracks are quite listenable on their own and many are suitable as bed tracks for other instrumentation and vocals. This first batch of 45 tracks has been sorted by theme into 5 self produced demo CD's. They are as follows and presently only available directly from AJ for $10 each. ahoysp7@gmail.com
The Yellow Brick Loops Demo CD Collection
1. The Baker's Dozen: 13 track sampler featuring Penny Whistle and keyboard
2. Mellow Down Easy: 8 mellow and easy listening tracks
3. Rock 'n Roll 'n: 9 uptempo tracks
4. Groove Station: 6 chill groove style tracks
5. Melodies Seeking Lyrics: 10 bed tracks for future vocals
The pure unprocessed guitar work is all performed by AJ on a 1960 Harmony Meteor hollow body electric.
AJ also plays Penny Whistle on a few tracks and there is a keyboard experiment on the sampler.

This is a splinter project of SPS (Shore Party Seven ). Researching surfing led to Hawaiian music which led to hula which led to hey what if? Yes a most definite yes the SPS music does work with hula dancing. One must see for themselves. The inclusion of an instructional video in the package creates a mini world where one might actually give it a try. What if this caught on? Interesting.
